This is the third of a series of historic images of St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal that I’m publishing to commemorate the fact that Brother Andre has taken one more step along the way to Catholic sainthood.

Brother Andre One Step Closer To Catholic Sainthood
A while back I wrote about Kateri Tekakwitha, Lily of the Mohawks, whom many hope will become Quebec’s second saint after Marie Marguerite d’Youville. Today. I learned – along with other Quebeckers – that the Vatican has recognized one instance of Brother Andre’s healing powers, which means that he is one step closer to being canonized.
This is a picture of the Crypt at Montreal’s St.Joseph’s Oratory where Brother Andre’s remains are kept.
