The Dugas family is not one of my “focus” lines but the following information can be found in Fidele Theriault’s  “Les Familles de Caraquet”.

The Judith Dugas who married Francois d’Assisi Theriault in 1833 (Gloucester County, New Brunswick) was the daughter of Bruno Degas and Judith Allain. Read more »

Genealogy Notes:

This Israel Theriault appears in the some gedcoms  as the son of another Israel Theriault and Catherine Murphy.

Christine Dugas’ parents were Vital Dugas and Luce Cormier. Christine’s first marriage was to Hilarion Dugas. Her marriage to Israel Theriault took place on May 10th, 1887 in Grande Anse in the presence of Jean Therriau and Daniel Murphy.
