  1. Anybody have any info on the Kahnawake Bertrands? My great-grandfather was Octave Bertrand, married to Adele Leger. (both of Massachusetts, USA). My grandmother, Clara Bertrand Dumas (Adele’s daughter) said that we had Canadian Indian ancestry, but she died when I was young and no one now knows the tribe. My Quebec antecedents were from the Trois Rivieres area. Thank you for any help. Virginia Dumas
