Update: Jean Baptiste Anglehart/Anne Chapados Family Tree Book
Last May, Maurice Anglehart (a descendant of Jacques Anglehart and Anastasie Huard through Jacques Anglehart/Florence Peaudemarthe and then Antoine Anglehart & Marie-Lousie Cyr) left a message announcing an Anglehart family reunion and the preparation of a new genealogy book. Here’s his original message and an update.
I am from l’Anse-aux-Gascons, Gaspé peninsula, Québec. Mr Gerald Brotherton is now working on the genealogy tree of the Anglehart, from Jean-Baptiste & Anne Chapados of Paspebiac. To help him out, everyone should send me by E-Mail all the information you have; that way, our book could be ready by this summer. Once the book ready, we are planning to organize a family reunion of all the ENGELHARDT and Anglehart having roots from Paspebiac in 1783. Read more »
Evelyn in Montreal:Hypolite Paul Theriault (m. Desanges Latulippe/Queret)
In a comment she left on under on another post, Claudia asked:
On Ancestry.com, I have not been able to find Hypolite Paul Theriault’s birth record. Where were you able to find Hypolite’s information? Were there any spelling or transcription mistakes that would help me locate the birth record? Thank you for putting up all of this amazing information!!
The birth dates for that family are from the 1881 census which – as you probably know – can be found at FamilySearch . His name and surname are both mis- spelled as Hiffolite Thiriault. Hippolyte and his wife Desanges were living in Ste-Flavie (Rimouski) with their children (according to the census spelling) – Adile, Obeline, Beomain, Joseph, Melvina and Hyacinthe. My database includes three more siblings for Desanges – Georges, Theodore and Emelie.
By the time of 1901 census, Desanges (wife of Hypolite and mother of your Desanges) was widowed and living in Ste-Flavie (Rimouski) with her son Joseph Theriault and daughter-in-law Aurelie Pelletier.

This is the 3rd in a series of posts in which I share marriages extracted from my database (A Canadian Family) where the groom was a Lagace/Mignier who descended from the Quebec pioneer couple Andre Mignier dit Lagace (Soldier of the Regiment Carignan) and his wife, the “fille du roi” – Jacquette Michel.
