Evelyn, I could not find an email address for you so am contacting you via this “comment”.
I just found your comment from a year ago on my Carey Family blog. Thank you so much for providing the marriage info for me. I was going to ask if your source was one available online to the public, but having come across your own blog today, I think I may have to read through it to see what you have to say about these records!
Thanks again,
Kim Danielsen

The name Maheu has a familiar ring. There was an old black and white film I loved, which involved the Maheu family–there was a murder mystery. I think it was an old Hitchcock movie.
Your research is amazing!
Hello,
My husband is Gerard Maheu from Concord, NH. He is the son
of George who is the son of Michel and Albertine Nicole Maheu who is the sister of Count Phillippe. I have the geneology of the Nicole family as far as the first Oliver, I got the rest from your page.
On the Maheu side I know that my husband’s line goes back to
Pierre who came to Canada from La Perche France. We have a genealogical society of Canadian Americans in Manchester NH
where I got my information. I hope this helps you track your branch of the Maheu’s.
I have found a lot of photos of family with the name Maheu, Fortin and Roberge (Robuge) which appear to be from the 40s to about 10 years ago. I live on Tupper St. and bought the house in 2002. I asked the two previous owners both of whom said they photos were then when by purchased.
If you can help me locate the family, the names I found are:
Jean-Jacques Maheu and others from the 40’s with the name Louis Maheu Fortin; Ginette Louise Roberge (1948)
Please contact me if you know the owners of the photos.
Bryan
