The Janice Brown Puckerbrush Blog Award for Excellence 2. Lucie LeBlanc Consentino
Linda Hughes Hiser of Flipside. granted me the The Janice Puckerbrush Blog Award for Excellence a little while back and today I’m continuing with the pleasure of passing them on to deserving bloggers. The Puckerbrush was inaugurated in May 2009 by Mississippi blogger Terry Thornton of Hill Country of Monroe County to honour the work – and in particular the writing skills – of blogger Janice Puckerbrush of the now defunct Cow Hampshire.
Today I am proud to honour someone who has had tremendous influence on me – and by extension my Canadian
Family blog - and that is Lucie LeBlanc Consentino. Lucie has long inspired me because of the superb quality of her well-known Acadian Ancestral Home website & associated blog, but now she has a new project - Lucie’s Legacy. I find it impressive that she could create such a beautifully and warmly written personal family history blog on top of all the volunteer work she does helping people out with their genealogy and in her role as the List Administrator of the RootsWeb ACADIAN-FRENCH-CANADIAN Mailing List.
Lucie is someone to emulate in so many ways!
