International Swizzle Stick Collectors Association – Who Knew?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Internet is a godsend for finding people with niche interests!  A former Montrealer – Ray Hoare - commented earlier today on something I’d posted a while back (The Bellevue Casino On A Swizzle Stick) and since many of you are in love with everything vintage I thought I’d draw your attention to what he had to say:

If I may add to all of the above…  My name is Ray Hoare (formerly from Montreal, now of Vancouver) and I am the co-founder of International Swizzle Stick Collectors Association. We have been in operation since 1985, and have 80+ members and have a biennual convention in Las Vegas every odd numbered year.  My own collection is in excess of 52,000  swizzle sticks – all of an advertising nature, and obviously I am always looking” to add..
We’d also like to chat with any other collectors as potential members of our collectors club..  Hope to hear …
