Reader Valerie St.John noticed my post about the St.Simon & St.Jude Cemetery in Grande Anse, New Brunswick and asked me this question: I am trying to get information on my paternal grandparens. They came to Niagara Fallfs, N.Y.about 1928. They are from Grande Anse N.B. Their nmes are William Godin and Valerie Pinot? Do you have any information on these families?

1. Eugene Godin was born in 1836 in NB CAN(1) and died after 1881. Note: Eugene was a stone cutter. Grand Anse (aka New Bandon) was famous for its quarries. Eugene married Christine (?) who was born in 1853 in NB CAN and died after 1881.
