Brother Andre One Step Closer To Catholic Sainthood

A while back I wrote about Kateri Tekakwitha, Lily of the Mohawks, whom many hope will become Quebec’s second saint after Marie Marguerite d’Youville. Today. I learned – along with other Quebeckers – that the Vatican has recognized one instance of Brother Andre’s healing powers, which means that he is one step closer to being canonized.

This is a picture of the Crypt at Montreal’s St.Joseph’s Oratory where Brother Andre’s remains are kept.
