FYI: Midkiff joins the Quadrupeds Festival

Thought you might want to know that Miriam Robbins Midkiff miriamof  AnceStories: The Stories of My Ancestors and SCANFEST fame, is going to share some of her postcard scanning tips in the next Festival of Postcards. It’s great to be able to add something new to our list of postcard-related “how-to” articles. On another note, congratulations to Miriam for her nomination to the Family Tree Magazine Best 40 Blogs list! She’s been nominated in the All Around category - quite an accomplishment!

  1. Hello: I am the grandson of A.C. Skinner, former mayor of Sherbrooke. I am in the posession of two Bartlett color lithographs, and i am trying to determine the value of them, as i am considering selling them.

    They are entitled “Mills at Sherbrooke on the River Magog”, and “Scene of the River St Francis near Sherbrooke”. They are in excellent condition.

    If you can refer me to persons who could value these for me, I would be most appreciative.
