Information

Edmond Boucher and Celanire Gagnon were married in the parish of St-Gabriel in Stratford (Wolfe) Quebec. Edmond’s parents were Joseph Boucher and Louise Bourque, while Celanire’s parents were Joseph Gagnon and Marie Tourigny. The marriage took place in 1874 on May 16th.

  1. Who married the native american woman in the Gagnon family? I know she was Micmac, and my grandmother carried her lineage.

  2. Hello Elezabeth,
    The Gagnon surname contains many lineages. To determine whether you have Native blood in your line you need to track the couples one-by-one and see whether there is any such mention in the marriage, census or other such documents.
    Do you have the names and marriage information about your grandmother? That’s where you could start.
