  1. Placide was my grandfather and Imelda was my grandmother (my mother’s stepmother). I used to visit them in the summertime.

    • Hello, My great Grandmother was Delima Lacroix. I beieve she was born in Quebec, CA.
around 1878. On her marriage cert. it states that her father lived in Danville, his name being Joseph A. Lacroix and her mother was Anette Cahill/Caille. Her mother was deceased in October of 1903 when Delima married my gr Grandfather, Theodule Isaie Jolin. The marriage took place in Biddeford,Maine listed in St. Joseph.
My Mother’s cousin was a Brousseau. We visited them once in 1968 at the Lake Saguay or St. Jean not clear on the lake’s name. I feel that we are related. Can you help me with the connection. My biggest problem is not knowing Joseph and Annette’s parents.
I would appreciate any information, Thank you for your time. Pam

  2. i WOULD LIKE TO ADD A BIT MORE.. I DO KNOW THAT I AM RELATED VERY CLOSELY TO BROUSSEAU’S. I MET THEM WHEN WE VISITED WHEN THE WORLD’S FAIR WAS IN QUEBEC! i am trying to figure out HOW we are related.. I was told that the lady we visited was my Mother’s cousin. Does anyone know of any Brousseau’s related to Jolin’s? Pam
