GenealogyWise & Postcards: A New Place To Meet
Readers who are part of the genealogy/family history community will have undoubtedly heard the buzz about the new social networking site GenealogyWise. If you’re like me you might be thinking “Yikes – another site – enough already!!!”
Well, I always check out anything that Thomas MacEntee suggests so I signed up and I found out that in addition to the usuall bells and whistles GenealogyWise also offers a really nifty Groups feature.
I’ve already made a POSTCARDS group here:
GenealogyWise POSTCARD Group
I think this will be a great place to post information about the Festival of Postcards, but more importantly it will be a great place to
Share tips, ideas & questions on how to use postcards to best support family history research & story-telling – but also to develop our own Best Practices when blogging about or with postcards.
I find that there are lots of interesting ideas and feedback in my Canadian Family Comment Boxes and I think the GenealogyWise POSTCARDS group might be a good place to continue those conversations.
So, please try it, you’ll like it!
