Carnival of Genealogy (74th Ed.) Swimsuit Issue

The 74th Carnival of Genealogy is the “Swimsuit Issue” so I thought it was time to share this 1960s photograph of my sister. She posed for the photographer – Bob Pichette of Ville Lasalle, Quebec – just before the Verdun Figure Skating Club’s Annual Show.
Her outfit was a 2-piece bathing suit and was meant to go with her routine which was skated to the tune of “Yellow-polka dot bikini”. In those days any two-piece outfit qualified as a bikini! Here’s the music to go with it:

Love it! And I remember the song too! We used to have a jukebox in the old store across the road from our summer camp where we would play songs in the 60’s while we drank our sodas.
I miss jukeboxes – especially the little ones that used to sit on our tables in restaurants. I don’t know what I loved more – listening to the music or flipping through the selections!
Thanks for the memories, Jean.
Evelyn, your sister is a doll. Bet she was a great skater as well. Did you ice skate, too?
Great picture, and that song is going to stay in my head all afternoon!
I remember that song. I actually had a two piece suit then, but was older than your sister. Still NOT a bikini!!!
Was your sister on the ice when this was taken? If so, I hope the photographer was quick!
