Query from Britt Anderson: I’m looking for any information regarding Michel Arbour and his wife Genevieve Fregeau, I estimate that they were born late 1600′s to early 1700′s. They resided in Quebec, Canada. I know that they had at least one daughter, Marie-Genevieve, and that she married into the Pepin dit LaChance family. I am the 7th great-granddaughter of Marie-Genevieve.
Information:
Michel HARBOUR married Genevieve FREGEAU in 1728 in Berthier sur Mer, Quebec.
Michel was baptized in 1704, was buried in 1734. Michel’s father was also named Michel Harbour.
Genevieve Fregeau’s father was Daniel Fregeau. The couple had at least two children – Genevieve who married Antoine Pepin and Michel who married Marie Louise Boutin. You can see this information – and earlier generations – for yourself online at theDictionnaire Tanguay Tanguay Dictionary. The information above is in Volume 4 (Dictionnaire – H – Har – pg.2) section.
