  1. Hi Evelyn,

    I have a lot of information on the Leveque family in Louisiana. They came from Rochelle to the New Orleans area in 1718. I wonder if you are aware of any connections between them and Leveques in Canada?

    Update:As a start, I have just posted “French Canadian Pioneers: The Levesques of Quebec” (also in a separate post some Levesque marriages from my database but I don’t believe those will interest you)

    • Hello Howard,
      Nice to meet you.
      I don’t know of any specific connection between the Quebec and New Orleans Levesques, however I know that at least one of the 5 first Levesque settlers was from La Rochelle,
      Do you have the name of that first New Orleans settler and French (from France)parents?
