Eveline from New Brunswick is working on her Guitar/Lagace lines. She is related to Romuald Guitar and Nora Lagace.

New Information for Eveline !!! (12 February 2009)

I have relocated a Guitard  online family tree which seems to have your lineage. It has a Rumuald Guitar (son of Francois Guitard and Olive Chamberlain) marrying a Nora Lagace. they have these children: John, Brigitte, Josephine, Rose, Francois, Joseph, William, Clifford,Lavina (your ancestor?), Wilfred, Elizabeth, and Marie. You will find all the Guitards you need in this tree – but what’s exciting is that the Lagace line is also included. Nora’s parents were Isaie Lagace and Nora Daley.

A Canadian Family M-Line: Eveline Melvina Luce

An M-line is a lineage built by beginning with a woman and tracing her line back mother-to-mother.  As a result, the surname changes with each generation. This is a big trend right now, especially with the advent of genetic genealogy which allows both men (through their mothers) and women to trace their bloodlines through their mtDNA.
