It’s much more challenging than French-Canadian genealogy because in Protestant registers there is often less information. Also there are many more amateur Catholic genealogists in Quebec so they’ve created a lot more family trees and indexes that help others get started. The only reason I’ve gotten this far is because of the names you gave me.
In any case, the next time you’re in Montreal we’ll work together on this.
